Novant's Plans are a Dazzling Offer for Village

Novant Health’s plans to build a community hospital in Clemmons with an accompanying site for an elementary school are simply this: Outstanding. Novant has gone the extra mile to offer this community an encompassing plan that will turn the Harper Road exit into a model development for good health and good education. The plans raise the bar for good corporate citizenship. We haven’t seen the likes of this.

Novant Unveils Hospital, School Plans

Novant Health formally filed its request Thursday to rezone 124 acres off Harper Road overlooking Interstate 40 for a new hospital and elementary school in a site plan that includes four miles of trails and sidewalks, bike lanes, a pond and tree-lined streets designed by a local architect. Novant had already given sneak peeks of the plans to hundreds of neighboring
homeowners and will continue a public relations campaign to win approval by the Clemmons village council.

Forsyth Medical Center Receives Approval to Build Clemmons Medical Center

Forsyth Medical Center has received conditional approval today from the State of North Carolina’s Certificate of Need Section to build a $96 million, 50-bed hospital in Clemmons. Clemmons Medical Center will serve residents of western Forsyth and Davie counties, including the more than 71 percent of Clemmons, Lewisville and Advance residents who now choose Forsyth Medical Center and affiliated facilities for their hospital care.
