New Medical Services Coming to Clemmons

Forsyth Medical Center has received approval from the State of North Carolina’s Certificate of Need Section to build a $96 million, 50-bed hospital in Clemmons just east of the Harper Road/Tanglewood interchange of Interstate 40.

The first phase of construction will include a 24-hour, 12-bay emergency department staffed by experienced physicians and nurses; as well as urgent care services, an outpatient imaging center and primary and specialty medical offices. Construction will begin by 2012 and services will become available in 2013.
